Brain Models
These represent different levels of dissection detail: BS 20 separates into 8 parts (lobes, medulla, cerebellum) for basic regional study; BS 22 is a median-section model showing internal midline anatomy; BS 25 is the most detailed at 15 parts, developed after Prof. Rohen's work at the University of Erlangen for advanced neuroanatomy instruction. Match the part count to your course level rather than assuming "more expensive" automatically means "better fit."
It's a combination piece — a transparent skull with cervical vertebral column and an 8-part brain with cytoarchitectural areas indicated, designed to teach the brain-in-skull spatial relationship rather than brain anatomy in isolation. If your course needs cranial-nerve-exit-point or skull-brain relationship teaching, this is a better fit than a standalone brain; if you only need brain anatomy, a standalone model is more cost-effective.
The "T" designation indicates the transparent skull version, letting the brain be viewed through the cranium without removing it — useful for demonstrating in-situ position without disassembly. The non-transparent QS 7/20 requires opening the skull to view the brain. Confirm which teaching approach (visualization vs. hands-on disassembly) your program needs before ordering.
BS 24 is sold as a standalone model isolating just the ventricular system — useful if you're teaching CSF circulation specifically and don't need a full dissectible brain alongside it.
