The SOMSO Lobule of the Lung with Additional Model of Pulmonary Alveoli Anatomical Model is a highly enlarged teaching model designed to demonstrate both the macroscopic and microscopic anatomy of the lung. The lung lobule is enlarged approximately 150× to show arterial and venous circulation and bronchial branches, while an adjacent alveolus is enlarged about 1000× to illustrate alveolar walls, vessels, epithelial coverings, and elastic and muscular elements. Constructed in durable SOMSO-Plast®, it is suitable for anatomy labs, medical education, and nursing instruction.
